Randomized Study Evaluating a Self-Administered Kit for Managing Sexual Pain in Women With Endometriosis Aged 18 to 45

Endometriosis is a complex gynecological condition affecting about 10% of women of reproductive age, often causing severe pain during sexual intercourse that impacts sexual health and quality of life. This study evaluates the impact of a specialized kit developed to help women manage sexual pain related to endometriosis, using the Sexual Activity Questionnaire SAQ to measure sexual functioning and pain. The study compares two groups one receiving the specialized kit and one continuing their usual routine without the kit. The kit includes the Endo-Sexo Guide book explaining sexual pain mechanisms and solutions, the Endo Doute app for tracking pain and sexual activity, and practical tools such as an endo-vaginal TENS device, penis rings, hyaluronic acid suppositories, CBD lubricant gel and oil, plus dietary supplements. Patients choose how and when to use these tools independently. Participants will be evaluated over three months, with measures including sexual quality of life, pelvic pain, and the use of the kits tools. The study will monitor the need for additional medical care and any treatment-emergent adverse events. Data collection involves regular use of the app and questionnaires, aiming to assess how the kit affects patients ability to manage pain and improve their sexual quality of life.
