Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Provide written informed consent for the study
- Be 22 years of age or older at the time of signing consent
- Have clinical stage 1A2, 1A3, or IB biopsy-proven lung adenocarcinoma eligible for anatomical resection
- Have a lung nodule larger than 1 cm suspected to be lung adenocarcinoma with a biopsy planned
- If multiple nodules are present, one must meet the above criteria
- Have no history of prior malignancy in the chest or have completed potentially curative therapy with no recurrence for 5 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Receiving therapy for another active cancer
- History of cardiac arrhythmias or use of a pacemaker
- Lung nodules smaller than 1 cm
- Lung nodules that are pure ground glass opacities of any size
- Lung nodules that are less than 50% solid of any size
