Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with colorectal cancer, intestinal obstruction, or abdominal trauma and received colostomy during this hospitalization
- Conscious and able to communicate in Mandarin or Minnan dialect
- No communication, vision, or hearing impairments
- Owns a smartphone
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to cooperate due to visual, hearing, cognitive, or mental impairments
- Requires colostomy surgery for reasons other than colorectal cancer, intestinal obstruction, or abdominal trauma
- Diagnosed with surgery-related complications needing further surgery, such as infection, intestinal perforation, stoma prolapse, stenosis, necrosis, or bleeding
- Unable to learn self-care before discharge due to worsening illness
