Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- 18 years or older
- American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status 3 or 4
- Scheduled for outpatient endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
You will not qualify if you...
- Difficult airway
- Neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, Botulism, Myasthenia Gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome
- End stage renal disease requiring dialysis
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Allergy to fentanyl
- Allergy to neuromuscular blocking drugs such as rocuronium
- Allergy to neuromuscular reversal drugs such as sugammadex or neostigmine
- Allergy to glycopyrrolate
