Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 18 to 65 years at the time of recruitment
- Clinically diagnosed with first-ever or recurrent ischaemic or haemorrhagic stroke
- Montreal Cognitive Assessment score above the 2nd percentile
- Had a paid full-time or part-time job when stroke occurred
- Unemployed (no paid full-time or part-time job) for at least 6 months at recruitment
- Able to communicate in Cantonese and read Traditional Chinese
You will not qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with transient ischaemic attack
- Cerebrovascular events caused by a tumour
- Diagnosed with a mental condition such as depression or schizophrenia
- Speech that is difficult to understand
- Currently receiving or waiting to receive vocational programs
- Self-employed at recruitment or planning to retire soon
