Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosis of essential tremor by a movement disorder specialist
  • Substantial incapacity due to essential tremor
  • Duration of symptoms greater than 5 years
  • Age between 18 and 75 years
  • Unsatisfactory effect from beta-blockers or inability to tolerate this treatment
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Cognitive impairment
  • Co-morbidity or non-compliance likely to affect results or evaluation
  • Standard surgical exclusion criteria
