Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18-65 years
- Currently enrolled in outpatient eating disorder treatment in the Twin Cities region
- Meeting DSM-5 criteria for mild anorexia nervosa (BMI �317.0 kg/m2) or atypical anorexia nervosa
- Able to give informed consent based on capacity assessment
- Sufficient spoken English to understand testing procedures
- Normal ranges on C-RENAL blood panel
You will not qualify if you...
- Substance abuse
- Neurological condition or developmental disorder
- Serious psychiatric disorder affecting brain function or cognition (e.g., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder)
- Medical instability requiring higher level care than outpatient treatment
- Contraindications to tDCS (e.g., past craniotomy, metallic cranial implants)
- Acute suicidality or homicidality
- Moderate to severe anorexia nervosa (BMI <17.0 kg/m2)
