Purpose: The purpose of this research is to pilot test a novel, alternative, potentially sustainable system of teacher-delivered, task-shifted child mental health care. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Schools must have been trained in either Tealeaf or RE-SEED in Summer 2024 or 2025 after being randomized
- Schools must be located in the State of North Carolina
- Schools must have an eligible principal
- Principals must be older than 18 years
- Principals must be employed at an enrolled school
- Principals must not be suspected or convicted of child-related misconduct or maltreatment
- Teachers must be older than 18 years
- Teachers must be employed at an enrolled school
- Teachers must have primary teaching responsibility for a single academic class for at least 1 hour per day and 4 days per week in Kindergarten to Grade 8
- Teachers must not be suspected or convicted of child-related misconduct or maltreatment
- Counselors must be older than 18 years
- Counselors must be employed at an enrolled school
- Counselors must hold a school counselor position at an enrolled school for at least 10 hours per week
- Counselors must not be suspected or convicted of child-related misconduct or maltreatment
- Students must be enrolled in Kindergarten to Grade 8
- Students must be students of an enrolled teacher
- Students must have a parent or guardian who can provide consent
- Students must have a positive or clinical-level score on the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire
- Guardians must be older than 18 years
- Guardians must be guardians of enrolled students
