Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have type 1 diabetes for 6 months or longer
- Be between 18 and 64 years old
- Speak English or Spanish
- Have an anxiety or depressive mood disorder diagnosed by a structured interview
You will not qualify if you...
- Have a developmental or sensory disability that interferes with participation
- Be currently pregnant
- Have bipolar disorder, psychotic disorder, severe eating disorder, severe substance abuse disorder, or acute suicidal risk or self-harm
- Use medications or have recent medical procedures that affect blood sugar control or continuous glucose monitoring
- Have received cognitive behavioral therapy in the past year or plan to start it soon
- Have recently started psychotropic medication and have not been on a stable dose for at least 6 weeks
