Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Basic-level hospitals in China classified as secondary-level (Grade II) or below, or located in counties/county-level cities
- Hospitals with emergency departments and neurology wards able to admit stroke patients
- Hospitals equipped with CT and/or MRI capable of diagnosing acute ischemic stroke
- Hospitals stocked with intravenous thrombolytic drugs for stroke treatment
- Patients aged 18 years or older
- Diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke
- CT or MRI confirms no intracerebral hemorrhage
- Stroke symptoms started within 4.5 hours before treatment
- Pre-stroke modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score of 1 or less
- Informed consent obtained from patient or legal representative
You will not qualify if you...
- Hospitals admitting fewer than 10 acute ischemic stroke patients per month
- Hospitals currently participating in other clinical trials that could interfere with this study
- Patients with contraindications for intravenous thrombolysis according to AHA/ASA guidelines
