Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 80 years
- Understand Spanish
- Scheduled for colorectal cancer surgery at Royo Villanova Hospital, Zaragoza, Spain
- Attending first consultation in General and Digestive Surgery under Dr. Blas
- Functionally independent to perform walking and pulmonary tests
- Preoperative American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score of I, II, or III
- Agree to participate and sign informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Older than 80 years
- Preoperative ASA score of IV
- Any injury, pathology, or inflammation preventing exercise
- Central or peripheral neurological diseases preventing rehabilitation
- Unstable cardiac conditions contraindicating moderate exercise
- Psychiatric disorder diagnosis confirmed by psychiatrist
- No access to mobile internet or computer with internet at home
- Mini-Mental State Examination score of 24 or less
- Unable to follow oral and written instructions in Spanish
- Refusal to participate or no signed informed consent
