TERPS Trial for de Novo Oligometastic Prostate Cancer
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient has 1 to 3 asymptomatic metastatic tumors of bone or soft tissue (at least one bone metastasis) seen on imaging within the past 6 months; up to 5 lesions allowed on advanced PET-CT scans
- CT or MRI scan within 6 months before enrollment
- Bone scan within 6 months before enrollment
- Fluciclovine (Axumin), choline, or PSMA PET-CT scan within 6 months before enrollment
- Histologic confirmation of prostate cancer
- Prior systemic therapy or hormone therapy within 9 months allowed
- PSA level greater than 0.5 but less than 100
- Age 18 years or older
- Life expectancy of at least 12 months
- ECOG performance status 2 or lower
- Ability and willingness to sign informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Castration-resistant prostate cancer
- Prior radiation overlapping a target lesion that prevents further radiation
- Spinal cord compression or risk of it
- Suspected lung or liver metastases larger than 10 mm
- Currently receiving other investigational drugs
- Unable to receive systemic therapy as judged by oncologist
- Unable to lie flat or tolerate PET/MRI, PET/CT, or SABR
- Presence of brain metastases on imaging
- Refusal to sign informed consent
