Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adolescent aged 13 to 17 years presenting to Emergency Department due to suicidal thoughts in the last week and/or suicide attempt in the last month
- Adolescent must have a caregiver willing to participate
You will not qualify if you...
- Adolescents who are medically unstable
- Adolescents with severe cognitive impairment, altered mental status, or severe aggression/agitation
- Adolescents presenting without a legal guardian
- Adolescents whose parent or caregiver does not own a cell phone
