Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 18 years or older
- Acute ischemic stroke patients with NIHSS score 0-5 within 24 hours after symptom onset
- Proximal intracranial artery occlusion confirmed by NCCT/CTA or MRI/MRA in intracranial ICA, M1, or proximal M2 vessels
- Baseline ASPECTS score of 6 or higher or infarct core volume less than 70 on NCCT/DWI/CTP
- Pre-stroke modified Rankin Scale score of 1 or less
You will not qualify if you...
- Any signs of intracranial hemorrhage on baseline CT or MRI
- Seizures at stroke onset
- Baseline blood glucose less than 2.78 mmol/L or greater than 22.20 mmol/L
- Platelet count less than 100,000/uL
- Serum creatinine levels greater than 3.0 mg/dL
- Participation in another investigational study within the last 30 days
