The aim of the study is to evaluate the changes in periodontal conditions on the distal aspect of the second maxillary molar after the extraction of the maxillary wisdom tooth. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Presence of an impacted upper wisdom tooth needing surgical extraction
- Ability to understand and sign informed consent and follow study procedures
You will not qualify if you...
- Having compromised general health conditions classified as ASA 3, 4, 5, or 6
- Taking antibiotics within the last 6 months
- Being pregnant or breastfeeding
- Having stage III or IV periodontitis
- Presence of a third molar with incomplete root formation
- Being a smoker
