Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • For cases, admitted within the first 36 hours of an acute neurological symptom related to an ischemic cerebrovascular accident eligible for mechanical thrombectomy
  • For cases, admitted within the first 36 hours of an acute neurological symptom related to a subarachnoid hemorrhage with modified Fisher scale 3 or 4
  • For cases, admitted within the first 36 hours of an acute neurological symptom related to an intra-parenchymal hematoma with greatest axis 60; 20mm or NIHSS on admission >4
  • For control patients, admitted within 7 days of acute neurological symptom onset related to transient ischemic attack with ABCD2 60; 2 score
  • Express consent to participate in the study
  • Member or beneficiary of a social security
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Pre-existing functional and/or cognitive disability
  • Patient under legal protection
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding woman
  • Patient with secondary hemorrhagic transformation
  • Patients with ischemic lesion unrelated to large vessel occlusion ineligible for mechanical thrombectomy
  • Patients diagnosed with acute non-vascular neurological pathology (migraine, epilepsy, etc.)
  • Transient ischemic attack patients with abnormalities on follow-up imaging 24-48 hours after initial imaging
