Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Solitary kidney stone or combined stones with total size 7 to 20 mm
- Suitable for flexible ureteroscopy as per American Urological Association guidelines
- Able to provide informed consent
- Bilateral ureteroscopy allowed but only first side treated included
- Surgery performed by trained urological attending surgeons or endourology fellows
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of stones in the ureter
- Previous surgery or strictures on the same side of the urinary tract
- History of radiotherapy to abdomen or pelvis
- Neurogenic bladder or spinal cord injury
- Pregnancy
- Untreated urinary tract infection
