- Pilon fractures, complex distal tibial fractures, ankle comminuted fractures
- Age more than 65 years
- Osteoporotic fractures
- Patients who are surgically fit
You will not qualify if you...
- Unimalleolar undisplaced ankle fractures
- Pathological fractures
- Young adults
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Peripheral vascular diseases
- Age less than 65 years
- Patients unfit for surgery
