Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female aged 18 years or older at the date of signature of the informed consent to participate.
- Patient with histological diagnosis of epidermoid carcinomas of the oral cavity; all grades are eligible.
- Patient naive of any systemic anti-cancer treatment (radio- or chemotherapy).
- Patient able to understand, sign and date informed consent before the start of any study protocol procedure.
- Patient affiliated or covered by a medical insurance
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients at high risk of bleeding, such as those on anticoagulant or antiplatelet treatment, with clotting disorders or recent severe bleeding within two weeks prior to inclusion.
- Patient with lesions on the cheek mucosa opposite to the cancer area preventing painless removal of healthy mucosa.
- Patient who had surgery for their oral cavity epidermoid carcinoma more than 6 months ago.
- Patient who uses cannabis.
- Patient with another active tumor or HPV-positive tumors.
- Patient under guardianship, curatorship, or legal protection.
- Pregnant and/or nursing patient.
