Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 63; 18 years
- Diagnosis of cancer (except non-melanoma skin cancer) at least 12 months prior
- No active cancer therapy (excluding chemoprevention) in the past 4 months and no planned therapy
- Significant anxiety shown by endorsement of SCID screener items for certain anxiety disorders
- OASIS score of 6 or higher indicating anxiety severity
- Regular internet access
- Ability to read and write in English
You will not qualify if you...
- Significant symptoms of Panic Disorder in the past month
- Significant symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in the past 3 months
- Psychiatric hospitalizations or emergency visits for psychiatric care in past 2 years
- Planning to use rescue anxiety medication or self-prescribed substances for anxiety in next 2 months
- Significant marijuana use in past month (4 days per week or 20 mg THC weekly)
- Participation in CBT or ACT behavioral or education interventions for anxiety in past 2 years
- Any impairment (hearing, visual, cognitive) interfering with independent study participation
