Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Able to speak and read English, Spanish, Japanese or Korean
- Biopsy-confirmed diagnosis of non-metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma
- Scheduled to undergo minimally invasive proximal gastrectomy (MIPG) or minimally invasive total gastrectomy (MITG) for curative intent
- Age 18 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Known malabsorption syndromes or lack of physical integrity of the upper gastrointestinal tract
- Known narcotic dependence with average daily dose greater than 5 mg oral morphine equivalent
- Deemed unable to comply with study and follow-up procedures by investigators
- Pregnant women
