Transcatheter Arterial Micro-Embolization (TAME) Using Nexsphere-F in Patients With Chronic Pain in Elbow or Wrist
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged between 19 and 80 years
- Able to provide consent
- Life expectancy of at least 12 months
- Have not improved after at least three months of conservative treatment such as NSAIDs, physical therapy, or steroid injections
- Moderate to severe elbow or wrist pain with a VAS score of 4 or higher
You will not qualify if you...
- Mild elbow or wrist pain with a VAS score less than 4
- Chronic renal insufficiency with serum creatinine greater than 2 mg/dL
- Allergy to iodide contrast agents not improved by steroids
- Acute infection or malignancy
- Previous elbow or wrist surgery
- Diabetes with bleeding issues that cannot be controlled
