Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with left hemisphere stroke or aphasia
- Consent date is at least 1 month after stroke onset
- Fluent in English
- 18 years of age or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe cognitive, auditory, or visual impairments preventing cognitive and language testing
- Presence of major untreated or unstable psychiatric disease
- Untreated or unstable chronic medical conditions
- Presence of cardiac stimulators or pacemakers
- Contraindications to MRI or tACS such as metallic implants, skull fractures, pregnancy, or skin diseases
- History of ongoing or unmanaged seizures
- History of dyslexia or other developmental learning disabilities
