Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with left hemisphere stroke or aphasia
  • Consent date is at least 1 month after stroke onset
  • Fluent in English
  • 18 years of age or older
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Severe cognitive, auditory, or visual impairments preventing cognitive and language testing
  • Presence of major untreated or unstable psychiatric disease
  • Untreated or unstable chronic medical conditions
  • Presence of cardiac stimulators or pacemakers
  • Contraindications to MRI or tACS such as metallic implants, skull fractures, pregnancy, or skin diseases
  • History of ongoing or unmanaged seizures
  • History of dyslexia or other developmental learning disabilities
