Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Ulcerative colitis diagnosed for at least 3 months
- Mayo score between 4 and 10, with Mayo endoscopic score of 2 to 3
- Resistant to at least one type of medical treatment for ulcerative colitis
You will not qualify if you...
- No previous treatment for ulcerative colitis (treatment-naive)
- Acute severe ulcerative colitis
- Previous surgical treatment for colitis or severe colitis at imminent risk of surgery
- Other systemic diseases
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Allergy to the electrode patch
