Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 18 years or older
  • Ulcerative colitis diagnosed for at least 3 months
  • Mayo score between 4 and 10, with Mayo endoscopic score of 2 to 3
  • Resistant to at least one type of medical treatment for ulcerative colitis
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • No previous treatment for ulcerative colitis (treatment-naive)
  • Acute severe ulcerative colitis
  • Previous surgical treatment for colitis or severe colitis at imminent risk of surgery
  • Other systemic diseases
  • Pregnancy or lactation
  • Allergy to the electrode patch
