Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • All patients with unilateral or bilateral impalpable testis
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous laparotomy surgery
  • Previous ventriculo-peritoneal shunt
  • Previous laparoscopy for impalpable testis (outside study)
  • Previous inguinal or scrotal surgery
  • Disorder of sexual differentiation
  • Abnormal karyotyping
  • Intra-operative inguinal testis
  • Ipsilateral testis conditions: Peeping, vas internal internal ring, vanished, streak, ovotestis, or ovary
  • Contralateral testis conditions: Streak, ovotestis, or ovary
