Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE) by age 18 years according to American College of Rheumatology criteria
  • Between 12 and 22 years old
  • Have moderate or higher levels of fatigue, depressive symptoms, or pain as measured by specific rating scales
  • English language proficiency (participant) or primary caregiver proficiency in English or Spanish
  • For those under 18 years in the US or under 16 years in Canada, a consenting caregiver is required
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Having other chronic medical conditions such as juvenile arthritis
  • Documented developmental delay, severe cognitive impairment, or thought disorder
  • Untreated major psychiatric illness including bipolar disorder, psychosis, severe depression (PHQ-9 score 21 or higher, BDI/CDI II score above 90), or active suicidal thoughts based on clinical evaluation
