Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy by DMD gene mutation and/or absence of dystrophin on muscle biopsy
- Non-ambulatory (not able to walk)
- Have intact extensor digitorum brevis (EDB) muscles in both feet
- Off investigational therapies for more than 30 days
- Age 18 years or older at consent
- Adequate organ function confirmed by lab tests within 14 days before enrollment (28 days for heart and lung function)
- Participants with partners of childbearing potential must agree to use at least two effective birth control methods (one must be a barrier method) during the study and for 3 months after stopping tacrolimus
- Able to follow commands to perform voluntary outcome measures throughout the study
- Willing to consent to 15 years of monitoring including an extension period
- Provide voluntary written consent and assent before any research activity
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of HLA antibodies against MyoPAXon
- Currently receiving active treatment with another investigational therapy
- Known allergy to any component of MyoPAXon
