Observational Study on Lung Cancer in Tunisia for Adults

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are conducting a prospective, multicenter, observational national study to better understand lung cancer among Tunisian patients. This study includes patients with any stage of lung cancer who have a confirmed diagnosis. It aims to collect clinical, treatment, and disease progression information to improve knowledge about lung cancer in this population. Participants will be observed without receiving experimental treatments, as this is not an interventional trial. The study will follow patients receiving care in pulmonology, oncology, radiation oncology, and thoracic surgery departments. Data collection will include information from diagnosis confirmed by histology or cytology at least three months before joining the study. During the study, researchers will monitor important health outcomes such as diagnostic delay on day one, survival, and relapse at 12 months. They will also assess how well treatment recommendations are followed. Participants will be followed for at least a year to gather this data, with no additional treatments administered as part of the study.
