Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male and female children
  • Age between 10 and 15 years, inclusive
  • Scheduled for abdominal ultrasound examination for reasons other than gastrointestinal evaluation
  • Signed informed consent obtained
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of diseases distorting the anatomy around the SMA such as abdominal mass, lymphadenopathy, severe scoliosis, or free abdominal fluid
  • Oncologic patients at risk of neoplastic cachexia
