Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Adult patients aged 21 to 70 years of both sexes
  • Patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery
  • ASA physical status classes I or II
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patient refusal of procedure or study participation
  • ASA physical status class III or higher
  • Coagulopathy or bleeding disorders
  • Local skin infections at the injection site
  • Body mass index greater than 40 kg/m2
  • History of allergy to local anesthetics
