Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age > 18 years old
- Signed and dated informed consent form provided
- Predetermined to have difficult IV access requiring ultrasound-guided IV placement
- Expected hospital admission with anticipated stay > 48 hours (as discussed with physician)
You will not qualify if you...
- Expected discharge from the emergency department (as discussed with physician)
- Unable to provide informed consent
- Pregnant women
- Non-English speaking participants
