Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient received thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer
- Recurrent lesions confirmed malignant by core-needle biopsy or fine needle aspiration
- No evidence of distant metastases
- Follow-up period of at least 12 months
You will not qualify if you...
- Coagulation disorder or serious heart, respiratory, liver, or renal failure
- Dysfunction of the vocal cord on the opposite side
