Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female aged 18 years or older
- Diagnosis of alcohol use disorder based on DSM-5 criteria with at least two symptoms causing significant impairment within the past 12 months
- Willingness to undergo brain MRI and follow the study protocol
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Any condition or abnormality compromising patient safety or data quality
- Non-English speaking
- Currently receiving other investigational treatments for alcohol use disorder
- Diagnosis of primary psychosis, Bipolar I disorder, or severe personality disorder
- Active suicidal thoughts or suicide attempt within the last 5 years
- Cognitive impairment with MoCA score below 24
- Significant medical or neurological disease or life expectancy under 12 months
- Significant brain abnormalities on imaging
- Any contraindications to MRI
