Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male and female aged 18 years and older
- For patient volunteers: symptoms of claudication and suspected PAD, scheduled for vascular testing
- For healthy volunteers: aged 18 to 75 years, normal BMI, no history of smoking, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with gangrene
- Patients who have had leg surgery or stents
- Patients with leg ulcers
- Any health condition preventing proper use of ultrasound scanning
- Individuals considered part of vulnerable populations
- Healthy volunteers with BMI over 30
- Healthy volunteers with history of smoking
- Healthy volunteers with diabetes, hypertension, or cardiovascular diseases
- Individuals considered part of vulnerable populations
