Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
  • Moderately active disease with calprotectin levels between 200 and 600
  • Aged 18 to 35 years
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Having proctitis alone
  • Inactive disease
  • Severe flare-up requiring hospital care
  • Planned change of treatment
  • Antibiotic treatment within the last month
  • Pregnancy
  • Unable to understand Swedish
  • Having multiple medical conditions
