Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male former professional football players aged 29 to 59
- Played a minimum of 3 professional football seasons with at least 3 games each season
- Fluent in English
- Male controls aged 29 to 59
- Controls have high school education or higher
- Controls are fluent in English
You will not qualify if you...
- Controls who played organized football beyond high school
- History of severe traumatic brain injury
- Current unstable cardiovascular disorder
- History of psychosis or major neurological disorders interfering with testing
- Contraindications to MRI (e.g., ferrous metal, pacemakers, claustrophobia)
