Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male former professional football players aged 29 to 59
  • Played a minimum of 3 professional football seasons with at least 3 games each season
  • Fluent in English
  • Male controls aged 29 to 59
  • Controls have high school education or higher
  • Controls are fluent in English
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Controls who played organized football beyond high school
  • History of severe traumatic brain injury
  • Current unstable cardiovascular disorder
  • History of psychosis or major neurological disorders interfering with testing
  • Contraindications to MRI (e.g., ferrous metal, pacemakers, claustrophobia)
