Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults with confirmed diagnosis of UC
- Age 18 years or older regardless of gender
- For males, age 30 years or older
- For females, age 40 years or older
- Active disease confirmed by endoscopy with Mayo score 2 or higher
- Indication to start treatment with filgotinib
- Active disease confirmed by intestinal ultrasound with bowel wall thickness greater than 3 mm and at least one other pathological ultrasound parameter, or
- Increased CRP greater than 5 mg/L and/or fecal calprotectin levels greater than 250 mg/kg
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy
- Unable to provide informed consent
- Colorectal carcinoma or high-grade dysplasia
