Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with type 2 diabetes
- Age between 50 and 75 years
- Both genders
- Diagnosed with diabetes mellitus for at least 7 years
- Distal symmetrical or asymmetrical polyneuropathy with pain in the lower extremity for 6 months or more
- Diabetic neuropathy symptoms questionnaire score greater than 4 indicating 90% probability of neuropathy
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnant females
- Patients with lower limb amputation
- History or evidence of neurological disorders other than diabetic peripheral neuropathy
- Presence of musculoskeletal dysfunctions such as scoliosis, lumbar disc prolapse, or lumbar spine radiculopathy
- History of any low back or lower limb surgeries
- Patients with malignancy or epilepsy
- Patients with hemophilia
- Patients with pacemakers, metal implants, prostheses, or internal fixation screws
- Patients with severe cervical and lumbar neuropathy, rheumatoid arthritis, or hereditary neuropathy
- Patients with a history of neurosurgery
