Age: 18Years - 45Years

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Missed or anembryonic pregnancy
  • Gestational age from 4 to 26 weeks confirmed by ultrasound on first day of admittance
  • Hemoglobin level greater than 9 g/l
  • Closed cervix
  • No product of conception in the cervical canal
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous attempt to terminate the pregnancy
  • Molar pregnancy
  • Abnormal uterine lesions such as fibroids or congenital malformations
  • Pregnancy despite intrauterine contraceptive device
  • Medical disorders including cardiac, renal, or hemorrhagic diseases
  • Body mass index (BMI) over 35 kg/m2
  • Known hypersensitivity to any medication used in the study
