Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of invasive cancer in brain, head and neck, lung, breast, prostate, gastrointestinal, or gynecological region
- Planned to receive or have received radiation therapy with curative intent
- Patients undergoing systemic therapy are eligible
- Any dose or fractionation of curative-intent radiation therapy is eligible
- Must have a smartphone or device able to receive text messages and use mobile applications
- Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status of 0 to 2
- Ability to read and write in English
- Provide written informed consent
- Patients enrolled in other clinical trials are eligible
You will not qualify if you...
- Metastatic cancer
- Undergoing treatment with palliative intent
- Poorly controlled diabetes (fasting glucose > 200 mg/dL despite treatment)
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- Any medical condition requiring fluid or nutrient restrictions
