Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 75 years or older
- Currently hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction (AMI), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG); or hospitalized for these conditions within the past 4 weeks
- Able to provide self-consent
- Able to understand and perform study procedures in English
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to walk (non-ambulatory)
- Moderate or severe cognitive impairment, such as a diagnosis of dementia
- Unable or unwilling to provide consent
- Currently incarcerated
- Unable to complete assessments in English
- Unable to complete the geriatric assessment for other reasons
