Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Weight between 10 and 30 kilograms
- Age between 1 and 6 years
- Both males and females
- ASA physical status I or II
- Undergoing elective surgery requiring airway management with an endotracheal tube
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of upper airway malformations
- History of upper airway surgery
- Active respiratory illness such as cough, fever, or rhinorrhea on day of anesthesia
- Anticipated difficult airway
