Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Clinical diagnosis of refractory epilepsy
  • Eligible for stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG) procedure
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Severe psychiatric disorders
  • Severe agitation during seizures
  • Contraindications for MRI such as claustrophobia, cardiac or neural stimulators, ferromagnetic surgical clips, cochlear implants, or intraocular metallic foreign bodies
  • Contraindications to intracerebral investigation with macro-electrodes including ongoing infection, severe cardiac, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic pathology
  • Pregnant or nursing women
  • Ongoing antithrombotic treatment
