Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Clinical diagnosis of refractory epilepsy
- Eligible for stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG) procedure
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe psychiatric disorders
- Severe agitation during seizures
- Contraindications for MRI such as claustrophobia, cardiac or neural stimulators, ferromagnetic surgical clips, cochlear implants, or intraocular metallic foreign bodies
- Contraindications to intracerebral investigation with macro-electrodes including ongoing infection, severe cardiac, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic pathology
- Pregnant or nursing women
- Ongoing antithrombotic treatment
