The study will compare health care utilisation and quality of life for patients with progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal syndrome and multiple system atrophy in different parts of the region that our specialist clinic operates in with different services as well as in other regions with no specialist clinics. This study aims to investigate which aspects of the service are most beneficial for the patients and to determine the influence of support services and specialty clinics on patients and their carers.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients aged 18 or over
- Ability to give informed consent at the start of participation
- Diagnosis of progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal syndrome, multiple system atrophy, or similar neurodegenerative diseases presenting like corticobasal syndrome
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients or carers who do not meet the inclusion criteria
- Patients with only static deficits and no neurodegenerative syndrome
- Patients deemed unsuitable by the principal investigator due to other medical conditions or participation in other trials
