Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to walk independently on a regular basis without assistance
- Able to speak and read English
- Must have access to a working smartphone and a computer with internet access
You will not qualify if you...
- Reliant on a wheelchair
- Reliant on an assistive walking device and unable to walk at least 50 feet without it
- Diagnosed with uncontrolled hypertension (blood pressure above 160/100 mgHg)
- Diagnosed cognitive impairment or inability to follow study procedures such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia
- Taking medications that alter metabolism
- Currently pregnant
- Currently breastfeeding
- Using supplemental oxygen
- Unable to complete required study activities for any reason
- Resting heart rate above 100 bpm or resting blood pressure above 160 mgHg during first visit
- Weighs more than 450 pounds
