Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients age >18 years
- Both sexes
- Patients within 24 hours after intensive care unit (ICU) admission
You will not qualify if you...
- Poor abdominal echogenicity
- Chronic kidney disease with estimated creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min/1.73m
- Dialysis dependency
- Renal transplantation
- Known renal artery stenosis
- Pregnancy
- Any congenital kidney diseases such as mono-kidney or anatomic kidney abnormalities
