Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients age >18 years
  • Both sexes
  • Patients within 24 hours after intensive care unit (ICU) admission
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Poor abdominal echogenicity
  • Chronic kidney disease with estimated creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min/1.73m
  • Dialysis dependency
  • Renal transplantation
  • Known renal artery stenosis
  • Pregnancy
  • Any congenital kidney diseases such as mono-kidney or anatomic kidney abnormalities
