You may qualify if you...
- Adult patients 18 years or older planned for elective, isolated mitral valve repair surgery
- Able to provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Insufficient knowledge to use a computer or smart device; assistance from children or caregivers allowed but patient must access their own email or text and navigate the internet
- Inconsistent access to a smart device with internet connection during the study
- Inability to speak, read, and understand English or Spanish
- Need for any additional procedures at the time of mitral valve repair
