Age: 3Years - 7Years

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Aged 3 to 7 years
  • Male or female
  • Diagnosed with strabismic, anisometropic, or combined mechanism amblyopia with visual acuity between 0.3 and 0.8 logMAR
  • Interocular visual acuity difference of at least 0.3 logMAR
  • Wearing glasses if needed for at least 8 weeks with no change in visual acuity at two visits at least 4 weeks apart
  • Ophthalmologist and family agree to forgo standard patching treatment during the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Prematurity of 8 weeks or more
  • Presence of other ocular or systemic diseases
  • Developmental delay
  • Strabismus greater than 5 prism diopters
  • Myopia greater than -3.00 diopters
