Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 3 to 7 years
- Male or female
- Diagnosed with strabismic, anisometropic, or combined mechanism amblyopia with visual acuity between 0.3 and 0.8 logMAR
- Interocular visual acuity difference of at least 0.3 logMAR
- Wearing glasses if needed for at least 8 weeks with no change in visual acuity at two visits at least 4 weeks apart
- Ophthalmologist and family agree to forgo standard patching treatment during the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Prematurity of 8 weeks or more
- Presence of other ocular or systemic diseases
- Developmental delay
- Strabismus greater than 5 prism diopters
- Myopia greater than -3.00 diopters
