The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if virtual reality works to reduce anxiety in patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Indication to CT-guided biopsy in local anesthesia
- Signed informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- No patient consent to participate in the trial
- Not eligible for CT-guided needle biopsy or requires general anesthesia or sedation for the procedure
- Does not speak Italian or English
- Has visual or hearing impairment
- Currently taking analgesics or anxiolytics
- Has dementia, psychiatric disorders, headache, dizziness, recent head injury, epilepsy, or other conditions where VR use may be harmful
- Improper application of topical anesthetics (lidocaine and prilocaine or tetracaine) before surgery
