Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 65 and 90 years
- Had one or more falls in the past 12 months or scored 12 seconds or more on the Timed Up & Go test
You will not qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of dementia or significant cognitive impairment with a Mini Mental State Evaluation score below 24
- Unable to walk independently at home
- No medical clearance to participate
- Regular participation in tai ji quan or multicomponent exercise programs two or more times weekly in the past 6 months
- Any physical condition preventing moderate-intensity exercise
- Unwilling to commit to the study duration or accept group assignment
